Our Story

Our story is rooted in family, tradition, and a lifelong love for quality craftsmanship. It all started with my father’s business, Daniels Quality Cabinets, where I spent most of my youth learning the trade—long before I ever set off to college in Kansas on a baseball scholarship. Those early years shaped not only my skills but also my appreciation for hard work and attention to detail.

Our family has deep roots in the cabinet industry. My father’s shop was closely connected to my uncles’ company, CabinetDepot.com, in Derry, New Hampshire. Together, we built a strong reputation for providing high-quality, all-wood cabinetry. As the business grew, we decided to bring that same level of craftsmanship and service to Canada, establishing Cabinet Depot Ltd. right here at home.

In recent years, our journey has come full circle. After my uncle’s passing and facing growing challenges with imported cabinetry—things like tariffs, shipping delays, and quality inconsistencies—we made the decision to return to our roots: custom, Canadian-made cabinetry.

Today, we’re proud to design and build every cabinet right here in Norfolk County, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern design. This change has allowed us to stay true to what matters most—personal service, creativity, and the kind of quality that can only come from a hands-on approach.
